Coll v. Ford
- Year:2022
- Client:Dave Bright | Sico Hoelscher Harris, LLP
- Project:Evidence Timeline Animation
In the case of Coll v. Ford, the client heavily relied on showing the immense amount of evidence against their company spanning over multiple decades. I was tasked to create a timeline that would be able to showcase all of the exhibits that showed the magnitude of evidence while also appearing visually digestable. In addition to this, they requested to make this visual timeline interactable, where they can zoom into any of of the exhibits for a closer look.
In order for this idea to work, I made sure to create an appealing and clean timeline that visually seperated the documents based on decade for a more visually appealing look. I also divised a way to make the motion graphic to appear interactable by creating a master overhead view in addition to a zoom in and a zoom out animation for each individual exhibit. When this was presented in arbitration, the client was able to operate this in an efficient manner where it would appear to be a seamless transition between going in and out of any document in any order they'd like.
The design and use of these animations used in arbitration resulted in a quick settlement with the Ford company for a substantial amount of money. Here is a testimonial from the client themselves:
