Englert LeafGuard strived to get more engagement on their posts because they were struggling with their facebook page. They were looking for a way to spice up their facebook page with different kinds of posts. Since the majority of their posts in the past were mostly product based, I decided to emphasize the safety of the product instead of just a simple product image.
Traditional gutters eventually get clogged which requires homeowners to climb a ladder to clean them out. The target demographic for Englert LeafGuard is over the age of 40 who could be seriously injured if they were to fall. Therefore, I created motion graphics emphasizing safety concerns with climbing ladders, while also timing these animations to be posted during the National Ladder Safety Month in March.
After my motion graphics were posted, they exceeded both their average like and comment counts from the previous year. The No Ladder Checklist animation received 230% more likes and 200% more comments than what they receive on average. In addition, the Ladder Safety Month animation received 280% more likes and 120% more comments than their average.
